Will walked over and leaned over with Tai Huang to look at the nautical charts provided by Sao Feng, which were unlike any charts Will had seen before.
Strange circles within one another, constantly moving and spinning.
There are also strange riddles written on the edge of the chart.
"The charts on it are not fixed." Will said to Tai Huang in puzzlement, "They are not as accurate as modern nautical charts."
"Yes." Tai Huang said inscrutably, "but they can take us to more places."
He walked away without explaining.
Will watched him walk away, frowning, and glanced down, rereading a poem engraved on it under his breath.
"Cross the border, rewind backwards, do it again, the sun rises and sets, the green light flickers."
"Barbossa," he yelled. Maybe the old pirate could help. "May I read it?"
Barbossa smiled, not in a hurry, he was not in a hurry to answer Will, turned and walked towards the rudder.
"Ever seen a green light flash before, Mr. Gibbs?" he asked the pirate.
Gibbs nodded, stroking his gray beard with one hand, "I think I've seen it."
After he finished speaking, he said to Will, "The chances of it happening are very low. You can only see it in the last ray of sunset, a green light going straight into the sky."
He gestured to the air, his other hand still gripping the rudder.
"Some people have never seen it in their life, some people say they have seen it but they haven't, and some people say..."
Pantel cut in.
"It signifies that a soul has risen from the dead!"
Gibbs glared at him.
"I'm sorry," Pantel said, sneaking away to join Rajetti at the side of the boat.
"Haven't they figured it out yet?" said the wooden-eyed pirate when his friend Pantel appeared beside him. "That's a riddle, and riddles are fun!" Cross the border, rewind backwards, and do it again— '"
"Riddles are no fun!" Pantel said hastily. "It usually ends up some poor fool dying before they realize they shouldn't: I shouldn't have listened to those witches' voices, I shouldn't have Take that pot of gold, but by then it will be too late."
"He usually dies in a horrible, often ironic way, and you and I are poor fools as things stand!"
His voice grew louder, and Will couldn't help overhearing it.
He looked back at Barbossa with a worried look on his face, dying in a horrific, ironic way wasn't part of Will's plan.
Seeing Will's expression, Barbosa laughed, "Don't worry, Mr. Turner."
He said happily: "We will find the way, going to the land of death is not a problem, the problem is how to get back!"
Will didn't feel any better.
Late that night, Elizabeth stood on the deck again.
The frozen sea has passed, and the glaciers have been left far behind.
The sea is now a big black mirror full of stars. She leaned against the side of the boat, looking at the sea water, and some unresolved questions flashed through her mind.
Will they find Jack in the land of the dead?Is there a way to bring him back?
Also, would he forgive himself for leaving him there to die?
Jack Sparrow is a pirate through and through, Elizabeth thought.
He knew that a man was often compelled to resort to underhanded means to obtain satisfactory results.
He knew she had chained him to the mast to save everyone else, and he even seemed proud of her piracy.
But that didn't mean he'd be happy to die, he'd blame her.
Elizabeth was really not sure how Jack would react when he saw her again.
There was movement in the dark, right behind her, and she felt Will before she saw him.
He came forward and stood beside her, also leaning against the side of the boat.
Will seemed completely lost in his own thoughts, thousands of miles away from Elizabeth.
He was almost a stranger to her, and she still loved him, but she couldn't tell Will how she felt and the guilt she struggled with about Jack's death.
Will moved away as if to say something to her, but he paused for a moment, then looked away again.
Elizabeth turned to Will, but Will didn't look at her, and after a moment she backed away from the side of the boat and walked away.
Will looked at the large mirror surrounded by stars, but his thoughts had nothing to do with the scene in front of him.
Suddenly, a strange voice caught his attention.
He leaned over to listen, and it sounded like a snarl.
"Barbossa!" he yelled, turning, "does he hear that?"
Standing at the wheel, Barbossa put his hands to his ears and said with a grin, "Yes, this is the sea I know. We're fine now, we're lost."
"Lost?" Elizabeth repeated, panicking.
"He's got to get lost trying to find a place that's impossible to find," he said with a wink, "otherwise everybody'd know where it was, wouldn't they?" He began to laugh.
Will noticed the ship spinning on its own, being dragged towards the roaring sound!

But Barbossa looked more happy than worried.
"Everyone!" Will yelled to wake the crew up. "Crew! Everyone!"
As the pirates charged onto the deck, Will ran toward the ropes and climbed up, trying to get a better view of what was ahead.
